Nine people, three disciplines, one studio.
A hands-on studio based in Kalbar, Queensland, with two decades of coding behind us. We design, build and host under one roof.
Two decades in, not two years.
Go-DesignHub's roots go back to the mid-2000s, building one of the earliest large web portals. Between that and plenty of other projects and websites, we pioneered an online shop that sold a wide range of items — until eBay's rise made it harder and harder to source stock worth selling.
Those hands-on years of long coding sessions and a lot of hard-won lines of code set us up for what came next: design, apps and everything in between. Through it all we've kept the same high-speed dedicated server we've run for 10+ years — based in Atlanta, in the US — doing all sorts of jobs with it.
We're not out to be everything to everybody, and we don't compete with overseas cheap labour on price. If we take a project on, it runs at our pace — without artificial deadlines or edgy clients breathing down our neck.
Fewer handoffs, more accountability
Most businesses end up with a designer, a developer and a hosting provider who've never spoken to each other, and a support ticket that bounces between all three when something breaks on a Friday afternoon. We keep design, development and hosting inside one team so there's always someone who understands the whole stack — and one place to call.
What we hold ourselves to
Senior eyes on every project
No project is handed entirely to a junior. A director reviews design and code before either reaches you.
Plain-English by default
Quotes, briefs and status updates are written for the person paying the invoice, not the person writing the code.
Built to last, not just to launch
Accessibility, performance and security are part of the build, not a fix-it-later list. Every site ships with a Lighthouse score above 90.
We host what we build
Because our own infrastructure is on the line, we have every reason to build things that stay fast and stay up.
